1. Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Use govern access to the public Quick Assess website, including its informational pages, public documentation, enquiry forms and report-verification service. By using the public website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
The authenticated Quick Assess insurer platform, paid services, API credentials, service levels and any insurer-specific arrangements may be governed by additional signed contracts or policies. If those agreements conflict with these public website terms regarding contracted services, the relevant signed agreement will apply to the extent of the conflict.
2. About the website
Quick Assess supports vehicle assessment workflows for authorised insurance professionals. The public website provides information about available and planned capabilities, product enquiries and integration opportunities.
Website descriptions, screenshots, demonstrations and workflow animations are explanatory unless clearly identified as live production results. Services described as in development, preview or planned are not commitments that a feature is available or will launch on a particular date.
3. Assessment and savings information
Quick Assess can help organise vehicle and spare-part information, surface available pricing references and prepare assessment reports through authorised workflows. Assessment outputs may depend on the accuracy of the information submitted, available supplier references, permissions, review processes and the complexity of the case.
Any reference to assessments being available in as little as five minutes is not a universal turnaround guarantee unless expressly agreed and supported by applicable service terms. Claims of cost reduction, improved accuracy or fraud-risk detection are not guarantees of a particular result.
Price references and risk indicators are decision-support information. An indicator does not, by itself, establish fraud or determine whether an insurance claim must be accepted, rejected or paid. Final claims decisions remain with the authorised insurer and responsible professionals.
4. Permitted use and visitor responsibilities
You may browse publicly available content, request information, and use the report-verification function for its intended purpose. You agree that you will:
- Supply accurate contact information when making a legitimate enquiry and act with authority when representing an organisation.
- Use only report references that you are entitled to verify and respect confidentiality requirements.
- Avoid putting claim files, customer personal information, passwords, secret API keys or other sensitive information into public enquiry forms.
- Obtain any required permission before sharing data through an authorised account or integration.
- Follow applicable laws and the access limits of your insurer or organisation.
5. Prohibited activities
You must not use the website or its forms to send spam, impersonate organisations or individuals, submit fraudulent or misleading enquiries, harvest contact information, scrape data in violation of applicable restrictions, probe for weaknesses, attempt unauthorised access, bypass rate limits or anti-bot controls, or interfere with service availability.
We may use proportionate technical safeguards, restrict abusive requests, quarantine suspicious submissions, suspend access where applicable and review or report serious misuse where lawfully appropriate. A request being flagged for review is not an accusation of fraud.
6. Accounts and API access
Public website access does not grant access to the insurer application, internal pricing catalogue or any API. Insurer platform accounts and API credentials are issued only through authorised arrangements, and users must protect their credentials and comply with assigned roles and access permissions.
Developer documentation and sample code are intended as integration guidance. Only API endpoints and behaviour explicitly published as current and supported should be treated as available. Production access may require separate onboarding, approval and contractual terms.
7. Report verification
Where a live public report-verification service is available, it may show limited authenticity information such as a report reference, validity/status, issue date and document version or fingerprint. It is not intended to display claim numbers, customer details, vehicle identifiers, photographs, prices or a downloadable full assessment report to unauthorised visitors.
Verification confirms only the information returned by the service at the time of the check. A result marked not found, unavailable or superseded does not by itself prove a document is fraudulent. Contact the issuing insurer or Quick Assess for further assistance where necessary. Access to complete reports remains subject to authorisation.
8. Intellectual property
The Quick Assess brand, logo, site design, product materials and original website content belong to their respective rights holders or are used with permission. You may read and share links to public website pages for lawful business purposes. Except where expressly permitted, you may not reproduce or exploit protected content, branding or software without prior written permission.
Third-party trademarks and product names remain the property of their owners. Their appearance on this website does not necessarily indicate endorsement or partnership.
9. Privacy and security
Personal information submitted through this website is addressed by our Privacy Policy. We may use security and anti-spam measures to keep the site reliable and protect users. No website or electronic communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Availability, external links and changes
We aim to maintain the website but may change content, suspend sections, correct errors or perform maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted availability of public pages, demonstrations, documentation or integrations. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
11. Disclaimer and responsibility
Public website information is general product information, not a substitute for a trained assessor's professional judgment, a contract-specific assessment, legal advice or an insurer's claims decision. We take reasonable care in preparing our public materials but cannot warrant that every demonstration, example or third-party reference will be error-free or fit every particular use.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Quick Assess and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from reliance on public marketing content or unauthorised misuse of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability or consumer/data-protection right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any applicable liability provisions in a signed insurer or integration agreement remain separately governed by that agreement.
12. Governing law and concerns
These public website terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, subject to any mandatory rules that apply to a particular visitor or transaction. If you have an issue with website access, content or report verification, please contact us first so we can investigate it. Nothing here prevents you from seeking lawful remedies or making a complaint to a competent authority.
13. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms as the website or relevant law changes. Changes take effect when the revised terms and their updated effective date are published, subject to applicable legal requirements. Material changes to contracted services will be managed under the relevant agreement.
